Unorthodox Therapy Inc. Champions Judicial Leadership and Mental Health Equity in Philadelphia
Unorthodox Therapy Inc. proudly supports the reelection of Philadelphia’s traditional judges in both the Court of Common Pleas and Municipal Court. Our commitment to civic engagement and mental health equity drives us to back leaders who reflect the values of justice and community service.
We are honored to collaborate with the Black Brain Campaign, co-founded by Farida E. Boyer, MS, LMFT, AS, and Jaynay C. Johnson, LMFT. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to eradicating the stigma surrounding mental health in the Black community by providing culturally competent therapy and training. Their Licensure Education Assistance Program (LEAP) is instrumental in increasing the number of licensed Black therapists, offering comprehensive support including supervision, study materials, and exam fee coverage .
Additionally, we celebrate the emergence of new leaders like judicial applicant Tanesha Henry, whose dedication to justice and community aligns with our mission. Our recent engagements with the Mayor’s Office of Women’s Engagement further underscore our commitment to uplifting women in leadership roles.
Unorthodox Therapy Inc. believes that mental health and civic responsibility are deeply interconnected. By supporting judicial candidates and organizations like the Black Brain Campaign, we aim to foster a more equitable and compassionate Philadelphia.
