Unorthodox Therapy Inc.

“Healing women across the country one story at a time.”

Unorthodox Therapy Inc. aims to break the stigma against depression and mental health and bridge the gap for those reluctant to seek clinical therapy. We act as the liaison and introduction to professional treatment by helping disintegrate barriers through sharing self-identifying stories through women’s experiences.

The Network does not just respond to violence. The Network responds to whatever the community experiences as violence, loss, stress, or trauma. Network interventions take place in response to a specific incident of violence or trauma—or in response to ongoing circumstances that may be stressful, including continued exposure to violence or trauma. our vision

Our vision is to provide culturally competent, holistic, and wellness-focused services that promote women's social-emotional development, prevent mental health challenges, and address social-emotional problems that currently exist. We will do this by using evidence-based strategies in our services to women reluctant to seek therapy; by sharing stories of other women who have gone through similar challenges. Categorize into four seasons of life, single life, motherhood, single motherhood, and marriage. Through our podcast, we will do so through our exclusive curated safe space, blogs, and promoting local self-care workshops and events.

 Who we are

  • Our vision is to be a beacon of hope for women navigating the darkest passage in their current season of life. To introduce alternative and holistic therapy and act as the liaison for women reluctant to seek professional treatment.

  • What exactly do we offer? We partner with local women-owned businesses that provide services offering wellness events and programs priced at $25 or less. Aiding women seeking alternative and holistic support who are in the process of healing and looking for an unorthodox way of therapy. In part acting as the liaison for women who are reluctant to seek clinical therapy, most importantly we fund* the events/services/programs*. Money shouldn't be in the way of your healing journey and this is where Unorthodox Therapy comes in.

  • While we're in the beginning stages of production, 100% of the contribution will go towards local programs in major cities that aid women through mental health, through remote practices. Until we raise enough capital and have more exposure with our non-profit we will then have a physical safe space for our sisters. In our endeavors to make Single Mama Married (an unorthodox therapy) a just community; We commit and aim to bring mental health and wellness across the country through our network. By growing this network of women-based wellness groups through existing businesses.
