Unorthodox Therapy Celebrates Local Entrepreneurs at Philly Current Magazine’s 13th Annual #PCpicks2025 Event
Philadelphia, PA – On March 19, 2025, Unorthodox Therapy proudly joined Philly Current Magazine’s 13th Annual #PCpicks2025 Celebration aboard the iconic Moshulu. The event spotlighted some of Philadelphia’s most inspiring businesses and entrepreneurs, honoring those shaping the spirit and story of the city.
Philly Current Magazine, founded by Eddie Keels in 2012, has become a cornerstone of Philly culture, curating bold and authentic stories that celebrate the city’s innovators, creatives, and changemakers. Their annual #PCpicks issue amplifies voices making tangible impact in our neighborhoods. (phillycurrent.com)
Unorthodox Therapy, a nonprofit dedicated to healing and uplifting women through community-based mental health support, was honored to be part of this vibrant event. Founder MonyChann McCarty, joined by three of the organization’s board members, attended the celebration in full support of Philly’s dynamic entrepreneurial spirit.
“It’s always beautiful when we can come together—not just to represent, but to genuinely celebrate others,” said MonyChann McCarty. “Being there with our board reminded me how powerful presence is. We’re not only building our own table—we’re also honoring those who paved the way.”
Unorthodox Therapy continues to support women-owned and small businesses as part of its mission to help heal the city of Philadelphia, one neighborhood at a time. Events like #PCpicks2025 allow the organization to stand in solidarity with fellow leaders while reinforcing the importance of collective support and recognition.
We thank Philly Current Magazine for giving platforms like ours a place to connect, celebrate, and keep the heart of this city beating strong.
