Mayor’s Office Hosts High Level Philadelphia 250 Business Roundtable at Eagles Stadium to Prepare for Historic Milestone
Philadelphia, PA — In preparation for the upcoming Philadelphia 250 celebration, the Mayor’s Office convened a special edition Business Roundtable at the Lincoln Financial Field Eagles Stadium, gathering high level leaders from every major sector to strategize for the city’s role in this historic moment.
The roundtable brought together commissioners from multiple city departments, executives from hospitality and tourism, transportation authorities, nonprofit leaders, public safety representatives, business innovators, and community stakeholders to discuss what Philadelphians and visitors can expect as the city prepares to host millions through 2026.
With Philadelphia expecting unprecedented foot traffic through the airport, historic sites, hotels, and local businesses, the conversation centered on readiness, collaboration, and building a seamless experience that reflects the spirit of Philadelphia 250.
“This gathering was necessary,” said Monychann (Mo) McCarty, founder of Unorthodox Therapy Inc. “Bringing every major player to the table ensured we are aligned on strategy, safety, hospitality, and community impact. Philadelphia 250 is not just a celebration, it is a moment that will define how the world experiences our city.”
Discussions included infrastructure planning, workforce support, public safety coordination, transportation flow, cultural programming, community engagement, and mental wellness considerations for workers and residents during a year of intense activity.
UTInc. was honored to be part of the table, recognizing that major citywide events are not only logistical undertakings but also human ones. Large scale gatherings place stress on workers, families, and communities, which underscores the importance of mental health support as the city moves into a demanding but exciting season.
“Philadelphia 250 is a once in a lifetime moment,” McCarty noted. “As we plan for economic opportunity, tourism, and cultural impact, we must also plan for the well-being of our people. Community mental health must remain part of the conversation.”
The Business Roundtable served as a powerful example of cross sector collaboration, demonstrating a united commitment to making Philadelphia 250 a safe, memorable, and inclusive experience for residents and visitors alike.
