Fourth Annual Garden Party Hosted by Gweny Love Blossoms into a Bold Celebration of Women, Wellness & Community

Philadelphia, PA — On Sunday, May 19, 2025, the Moore College of Art & Design transformed into a radiant sanctuary of sisterhood as Gweny Love, Executive Director & CEO of Mantua Worldwide Community, Inc., hosted her highly anticipated Fourth Annual Garden Party. With over 100 women in attendance, the event combined timeless tradition with intentional healing—celebrating the strength, creativity, and unity of women across Philadelphia.

From elegant gowns to statement-making hats, attendees showed up in full bloom. This wasn’t just fashion—it was power dressing rooted in pride. Mistress of Ceremony Tamara Suber, an artist, farmer, and shepherdess, carried the day with warmth and wisdom. The event opened with a welcome address by Mo McCarty, founder of Unorthodox Therapy, setting the tone for authentic conversation and connection.

“This garden party is more than an event,” said Gweny Love. “It’s a sacred space to recharge, to share, and to uplift one another. We gather to be seen—not just as professionals—but as whole women.”

The afternoon spotlighted a vibrant showcase of women-owned businesses and community changemakers including Rain Root Gardens, Junebug Sweet Treats Bakery, Earth Gold Sea Moss Co., Jo Loves to Crochet, Herbalife by Allana Joyner-Stephens, and many more. From herbalists to educators, financial advisors to family therapists—each woman brought something invaluable to the table: herself.

The party also honored legacy organizations such as DBE (Daughters of the British Empire), Royal Heritage Society, and My Garden Club of Philadelphia & Vicinity. The cross-generational presence reminded all in attendance that tradition and transformation can—and should—coexist.

As music played and photos were snapped, business cards exchanged and laughter echoed through the garden. What blossomed that afternoon was more than just flowers. It was confidence, connection, and collective care.

Photos from the event will be released soon. For more information on Gweny Love, Mantua Worldwide Community, or the upcoming women’s networking experience, email info@unorthodoxtherapy.org.

From Gweny’s heart to yours—thank you for being the garden.
