Unorthodox Therapy Celebrates the Conclusion of Session 3 of the Ezer Group, Supporting Faith Based Conversations on Marriage
Philadelphia, PA — Unorthodox Therapy Inc. (UTInc.) proudly marks the final gathering of Session 3 of the Ezer group, a faith based women’s group hosted through The Block Church and centered on supporting women navigating marriage through a spiritual lens.
Throughout the session, UTInc. partnered closely with the vision of the Ezer group, providing weekly supplies and meals to create a welcoming environment where women felt comfortable engaging in honest, thoughtful, and meaningful conversation. The intention behind this support was simple but impactful. When women feel cared for, conversations can flow more freely and trust can deepen.
The Ezer group, named after the Hebrew word meaning helper and warrior, brought together women seeking biblical wisdom, spiritual grounding, and community as they navigated the realities of marriage. Each session offered space for reflection, discussion, prayer, and shared experience rooted in faith and mutual respect.
“Supporting Ezer has been deeply meaningful for us,” shared Monychann (Mo) McCarty, founder of Unorthodox Therapy Inc. “Marriage can be beautiful and it can be challenging. Creating space where women can speak openly without judgment is powerful. Providing meals and supplies may seem simple, but it removes barriers and allows women to show up fully.”
Unorthodox Therapy’s involvement also reflected its ongoing commitment to supporting local businesses, sourcing food and supplies locally whenever possible. This approach aligns with UTInc.’s belief that community care is strengthened when women support women at every level.
As Session 3 comes to a close, the impact of the Ezer group is evident in the connections formed, the vulnerability shared, and the encouragement exchanged among participants. For UTInc., this partnership reinforces the belief that mental, emotional, and spiritual health are deeply connected.
Unorthodox Therapy remains committed to supporting faith based initiatives that honor women, strengthen relationships, and foster healing through community and care.
