Overcoming Mom Guilt with Jessie Sheridan and Habituelle

Jessie Sheridan is a woman who embodies leadership, mentorship, and community. As the Vice President for Leadership Experience at The Leader’s Edge, Jessie works with women leaders at all stages of their careers through executive coaching and leadership development. Her role allows her to guide women in The Leader’s Edge Signature Leadership Program, combining small group coaching with one-on-one executive coaching.

But her impact doesn’t stop there. Jessie is also the founder of Habituelle, a platform dedicated to amplifying the voices of women and creating spaces for them to connect, grow, and thrive. Through Habituelle, Jessie has shared the stories of more than 160 women leaders, each playing a vital role in shaping a stronger and more vibrant Philadelphia community.

Recently, Jessie hosted a transformative event called Overcoming Mom Guilt at the Fitler’s Club. The gathering brought together women from diverse backgrounds to openly discuss the guilt that often accompanies motherhood. It was a safe space to explore difficult but important questions: Am I doing enough? How can I balance my personal and professional life?

As the president of Unorthodox Therapy Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to supporting women’s mental health and healing, attending this event was incredibly meaningful for me. Habituelle models the exact mission Unorthodox Therapy strives to achieve—creating spaces where women can connect, support each other, and thrive. Seeing Jessie’s commitment to helping women unlock their full potential deeply resonated with me, especially as someone who believes in the power of small groups and shared experiences to foster growth.

Habituelle, like Unorthodox Therapy, is a reminder of how essential it is to create intentional communities where women can be vulnerable, authentic, and empowered. Jessie’s event reinforced the importance of these spaces and the transformative power they hold.

Philadelphia is stronger because of leaders like Jessie Sheridan, who dedicate their work to uplifting women and fostering connection. Her ability to blend leadership development with community-building is inspiring, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to witness and support her incredible work.

If you haven’t yet connected with Jessie, Habituelle, or her work through The Leader’s Edge, I highly encourage you to do so. Together, we can continue building a network of support and empowerment for women across Philadelphia.
