Unorthodox Therapy Hosts District 1 and 2 Health and Wellness Event in Center City Philadelphia

Unorthodox Therapy Hosts Combined District 1 and 2 Councilmanic Tour at Holy Redeemer Chinese Catholic Church

Philadelphia, PA – Unorthodox Therapy had the privilege of hosting a powerful gathering for the Councilmanic District 1 and 2 Tour at the historic Holy Redeemer Chinese Catholic Church and School in Center City. This event brought together leaders, community members, and advocates to engage in meaningful conversations about health, wellness, and the importance of releasing what no longer serves us.

The event provided a platform for Unorthodox Therapy to share its mission and highlight its innovative programs, designed to support healing and empowerment across Philadelphia. Monychann (Mo) McCarty, Founder of Unorthodox Therapy, introduced attendees to the organization’s signature approach, "The Power of Release," which focuses on health and wellness through intentional practices that foster mental, emotional, and spiritual balance.

“Being able to connect with individuals from Districts 1 and 2 was an honor and a reminder of how important community-based efforts are in creating lasting change,” said McCarty. “At Unorthodox Therapy, we are committed to providing resources and programs that empower individuals to take charge of their well-being while strengthening their connections within the community.”

The Holy Redeemer Chinese Catholic Church and School served as a perfect backdrop for this gathering, symbolizing resilience and cultural unity in the heart of Philadelphia. The discussions during the event emphasized the need for collaborative solutions to address health and wellness challenges while highlighting the value of holistic and community-centered approaches.

Unorthodox Therapy remains steadfast in its mission to provide accessible, meaningful mental health and wellness solutions, ensuring that all Philadelphians have the tools to thrive. The Councilmanic District 1 and 2 Tour serves as another step forward in fostering healing and empowerment through connection and intentional action.
