Sparking Conversations on Women’s Issues: A Mayoral Candidate Forum

It was truly an honor to find myself in a room filled with exceptional women in leadership roles, ranging from esteemed doctors to the President and two of the remaining ten mayoral candidates for Philadelphia. The conversation focused on the unique challenges and triumphs of women in our city, and I couldn’t help but feel humbled and inspired by their collective wisdom and accomplishments.

As I listened to the discussions unfold, I was struck by the powerful presence of these trailblazing women. Their determination, passion, and resilience filled the room with an energy that was nothing short of contagious. It was in that moment that I realized this was the type of room I longed to be a part of, surrounded by strong, influential women who were striving to make a difference in their communities.

These connections and conversations further reinforced my commitment to the work I am doing with unorthodox therapy and my non-profit for women in Philadelphia. It is my hope that by collaborating with these inspiring individuals, we can continue to empower women in our city, fostering growth and positive change that will resonate far beyond the City of Brotherly Love.

I left the gathering with renewed enthusiasm, a heightened sense of purpose, and a profound gratitude for the opportunity to be in the presence of such remarkable women. As I continue my journey with unorthodox therapy and my non-profit, I am confident that the insights and relationships I have gained will not only enrich my own work but also contribute to the larger goal of elevating and celebrating women in all aspects of life in Philadelphia.
